Pack the items you want to send in a cardboard box and seal it with tape. If there are empty spaces inside the packaging, fill them with crumpled paper or bubble wrap.
Follow the instructions provided in the confirmation email. Expect a Parcel Force courier to arrive on the next working day after registering the parcel. You do not need to print a label when the courier collects your parcel. After dispatch, you can track its status online.
CAN I SEND A PARCELS FROM ANY PART OF THE UK?
Yes, through our service you can send a parcel from England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO SEND A PARCEL?
The cost of delivery depends on the weight and size of the parcel. You can check the exact price using the shipping cost calculator, available on our website or refer to the price list.
HOW CAN I PAY FOR DELIVERY?
After completing the online parcel registration form, you will have the option to pay for the shipment using a bank card, Google Pay, or Apple Pay.
HOW MANY PARCELS CAN I SEND IN ONE ORDER?
You can register and send only one parcel or envelope per order. If you have multiple parcels for the same recipient, you must register each one separately. Each parcel registered in the Meest United Kingdom service receives a unique tracking number for identification and tracking.
DO I HAVE TO PAY CUSTOMS DUTIES AND VAT?
For deliveries to Ukraine, parcels are exempt from customs duties and taxes if their total weight does not exceed 50 kg and their declared value does not exceed €150. The exemption applies to parcels delivered on the same day to the same recipient's address.
HOW DO I COMPLETE THE CUSTOMS DECLARATION FOR MY PARCEL?
If you are sending a parcel to an EU country, enter the first three letters of the item name in the customs declaration and select the appropriate option from the dropdown list. If your item is not listed, contact us, and we will update the available options.
WHAT IS VOLUMETRIC WEIGHT, AND WHY DOES IT AFFECT THE SHIPPING COST?
Volumetric weight is a method of calculating shipping costs based on the parcel's size rather than its actual weight. If your parcel is large but lightweight, the cost may be adjusted according to the space it occupies during transport. If the volumetric weight (calculated as length × width × height / 5000) exceeds the actual weight, the shipping cost will be based on the volumetric weight.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE MY PARCEL FOR SHIPPING?
Pack the items in a sturdy cardboard box and seal it securely with wide packing tape, wrapping it multiple times. The packaging should protect the contents from external impacts. Fill any empty space with crumpled paper, bubble wrap, or other cushioning materials.
WHAT DOCUMENTS DO I NEED TO INCLUDE WITH MY PARCEL?
The online parcel registration form generates a shipping label and customs declaration, which are attached to the parcel by courier or at the Meest UK warehouse. You do not need to include any additional documents. However, if your chosen shipping method requires it, attach the sender’s label provided by Meest Post.
I AM MOVING. WHEN SHOULD I SEND MY PARCEL TO MY NEW ADDRESS?
Do not leave your parcel shipment until the last minute. Occasionally, a courier may arrive a day later than scheduled or may have trouble locating the address. If an issue arises and the courier cannot collect your parcel, rebooking may delay collection. Plan ahead or arrange for someone to hand over the parcel on your behalf.

THE ADDRESS ON THE LABEL DIFFERS FROM THE ONE I PROVIDED. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
There is no need to worry. The address on the label is for the Meest UK warehouse, where a new label with the correct recipient’s address will be attached before shipping. If the recipient’s address differs from the one you registered, or if you notice an error, contact our Customer Support team at [email protected].
CAN I PAY THE COURIER IN CASH WHEN SENDING MY PARCEL?
No. The courier does not accept cash payments. Delivery must be paid for online when registering the parcel.
WHEN SHOULD I EXPECT THE COURIER?
The courier will collect your parcel on the next working day after payment is received, which may not always be the day after registering the parcel online.
Couriers operate Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and may contact you via phone or SMS to confirm collection details.

DO I NEED A MEEST UK ACCOUNT TO SEND A PARCEL?
You do not need to create an account to send a parcel.
However, having an account allows you to track your order history, send parcels more efficiently using saved addresses, and access special promotions available only to registered users.
CAN I DECLARE MULTIPLE PARCELS AND PAY IN ONE TRANSACTION?
No. Each parcel must be registered and paid for separately. However, if you have an account, you can speed up the process by using saved addresses and shipment templates.
CAN I GET AN INVOICE FOR MY PARCEL?
Yes. The invoice is automatically sent with the order confirmation to the email address provided during registration.
CAN I SEND A DOCUMENT IN AN ENVELOPE?
Yes, but it must be in a rigid cardboard envelope to protect the contents. Alternatively, you can use a flat box.

Booking a courier to a temporary address (e.g., hotels, student dormitories, hostels, medical or spa facilities) may be challenging due to restricted access.
CAN I USE A NON-LOCAL PHONE NUMBER WHEN REGISTERING A PARCEL?
No. The sender’s and recipient’s phone numbers must match the country of shipment or delivery (e.g., a UK parcel must have a +44 UK number). Incorrect numbers may result in delivery issues.
HOW CAN I SHIP A PARCEL TO UKRAINE WORTH OVER €150?
For parcels exceeding €150 in value, the recipient in Ukraine must pay customs duties and taxes. To send such a parcel, register on Sending a Parcel stage-uk.meest.com/uk, зcomplete your account details, and contact Meest Post Customer Service ([email protected]).

HOW CAN I TRACK MY PARCEL?

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE RECIPIENT REFUSES TO ACCEPT THE PARCEL?
If the recipient refuses the parcel, it will be returned to the sender at the sender’s expense. The return cost is equivalent to the base delivery price.
For parcels returned from outside the EU customs area, in addition to the base delivery fee, the sender must also pay a fee for import procedures into the United Kingdom, along with any applicable import duties and taxes. The fee varies depending on the reason for return, and the amount of duty and taxes is determined by current UK import tariffs. Please refer to the Price List for a complete breakdown of additional charges.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY PARCEL IS DAMAGED OR LOST?
You have the right to file a claim. Please complete the claim form available on our website in the “Claims” section. If your parcel is damaged, you must also complete a damage report confirmed by the courier at delivery or at the collection point. Should you notice damage only after opening the parcel, please file your claim with the damage report within 7 days of receipt.
HOW DO I FILE A CLAIM?
Claims can be submitted by completing the online claim form, which must include your full name, contact details, the parcel’s tracking number, the reason for the claim, and your expected resolution.
According to current postal regulations, the postal operator has up to 3 months to issue compensation or notify you of a claim rejection; however, the standard processing time is approximately 30 days.

WHAT ARE THE MAXIMUM ALLOWED DIMENSIONS AND WEIGHT OF A PARCEL?
The maximum dimensions and weight depend on the country of origin, destination, shipping method, and delivery format.
Once you enter the basic details of your parcel into the calculator on Meest Post UK, all available shipping options, including their size and weight restrictions, will be displayed.
CAN I SEND A PARCEL WEIGHING MORE THAN 30 KG?
On Meest Post UK you can register a parcel weighing up to 30 kg. If you need to send an item that exceeds this weight or has non-standard dimensions and cannot be divided into smaller parcels, please contact our customer support to discuss bespoke shipping options and obtain an individual price quotation.
WHAT ITEMS CANNOT BE SENT VIA POSTAL SHIPMENTS?

IS THE RECIPIENT REQUIRED TO PAY CUSTOMS DUTIES AND VAT?
For parcels delivered to Ukraine with a total weight of up to 50 kg and a declared value of up to 150 euros, delivered on the same day to one recipient’s address, customs duties and taxes are waived. However, if the shipment contains goods of a higher value, the recipient will be required to pay the applicable taxes in Ukraine.
TO WHICH SETTLEMENTS IN UKRAINE CAN I SEND A PARCEL?
You can currently send a parcel to any settlement in Ukraine, except for territories temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation and areas where active hostilities are taking place. Please check delivery availability at link.
HOW MANY KILOGRAMS OF PRODUCTS CAN BE SENT IN ONE PARCEL TO UKRAINE?
You can send up to 10 kg of products in one parcel to Ukraine, provided they are in the manufacturer’s original packaging.
WHAT HAPPENS IF A PROHIBITED ITEM IS INCLUDED IN THE PARCEL?
If your parcel contains a prohibited item, it will be returned to the sender at the cost specified on our website. Please ensure you review the list of prohibited items before sending your parcel.
CAN I SEND PET FOOD TO UKRAINE?
No, pet food is listed among the prohibited items for transport to Ukraine. If you send a prohibited item, the parcel will be returned to you at the sender’s expense, in accordance with the return charges specified on our website.
